#2 Catch You on The Flipside
In this issue, Spidey and Torch trade jobs for a day with Spidey going on a mission with the Fantastic Four and Torch going on the prowl as a solo vigilante; doing battle with Kraven the Hunter.

#3 Auto Motives
Many years ago, after Gwen Stacy's death, Peter Parker has been accepted as a college intern for a research program started by Reed Richards. Richards shows him and the other intern a new invention he developed called the gravity localizer, which makes people more attractive at several points. After the day is over, the other intern reveals her true intentions, to spy on Reed for the Red Ghost!

Later on, Johnny Storm teaches Spider-Man how to drive the Spider-Car, but when they attempt to persue Stilt-Man, they get stuck in traffic. In order to fix this situation, they steal the gravity localizer and install it into the spider-car. With gravity no longer a problem, Spider-Man and Human Torch joyride through the city until Red Ghost intervenes to steal the gravity localizer. However, Spider-Man manages to save the day with some fruit-pies.

#4 Cat's Paws
A few years ago, Johnny Storm has been invited to a party at the Wakandian  embassy. But, Black Cat also has her eyes on the party, hoping to get in close to a tribal mask on display with the help of Peter. He, however, is morally opposed to helping her pull off a heist. Luckilly for Felicia, Human Torch is a sucker and goes along with her plan. At the embassy, Spider-Man attempts to foil Black Cat but is mistaken as the robber himself. As he's chased by the royal guards, Black Cat strips down and gets between the laser beams bent by Johnny's heat to take her prize.

Afterwards, the three escape and she explains to Spider-Man that she was after her father's lucky lockpick that he dropped in the mask, not the mask itself.

#5 Together Again
In the present, Spider-Man and Human Torch meet at the Statue of Liberty and talk over their past, but more particularly talk about what happened at P.S. 108 that morning.

Human Torch has been scheduled as a special guest for an assembly at the school Peter teaches at. A guest who gets no respect at all and gets upstaged by Mary Jane. Suddenly, armed terrorists pistolwhip the Torch and attempt to find Luke Towers, the son of the DA who put his son in prison. In order to leave and come back as Spider-Man, he reveals his identity to Torch through charades and the two save the day. Afterwards, he demands that Spider-Man meet him at the usual place and they pick up where the issue began. Human Torch invites him and his family over for dinner at the Baxter Building and they all have a nice dinner. The story ends with a montage of photographs featuring the Parkers and Fantastic Four.
